Latex emulsion paint for decorative painting of interior walls and ceilings. It is characterised by perfect covering, durability, and resistance to repetitive washing with water with detergents (Type 1 according to Standard PN-C-81914:2002). Therefore, it allows easy removal of dirt without any damage to the surface and loss of the colour. The coating has a matt finish.
Luxdecor latex paint for walls and ceilings
Substrate preparation: The surface to be painted should be stable, clean, dry, and uniform. Fresh plaster coatings can be painted after a four-week seasoning.
Remove non-adhering (peeling) paint coatings. Old coatings of size colours should be removed and the surface should be cleaned with water. Clean well-adhered emulsion paint coatings with water with a detergent. Fill up cavities with putty, rub down, and remove dust.
In order to reinforce the surface and in the case of absorptive surfaces, grounding with a primer or the LuxDecor primer paint is recommended.
Application: This paint is intended for painting surfaces made of mineral and gypsum plaster, gypsum boards, bricks, wood and wood-like surfaces as well as fibreglass wallpaper.
Obtaining the proper, declared paint coverage depends on proper preparation of the substrate as well as the use of recommended tools and paining methods.
Painting:For painting larger surfaces, use products from the same production batch.
Before use, mix the paint carefully.
If necessary, the paint can be diluted with up to 5% of water.
Painting must be performed within a temperature range of 10oC to 30oC.
Apply one or two layers at an interval of approx. 3 hours.
Paint the ceiling from the window-side and keep moving towards the centre of the room in the direction of sunlight.
Start painting with places that are difficult to access and corners using a brush or a small, thin roller.
Apply the paint on the roller generously and distribute it on the surface carefully and evenly. It is important not to paint with a dry roller. Do not stop painting when started. Do not make any corrections when the surface is semi-dried. Join subsequent painted sections “wet on wet”. Finish painting of every section of the painted surface by moving the roller in the same direction.
For intense colours, it is recommended not to make any corrections once the paint is dry; it is recommended to paint the entire surface.
When finished, clean your tools with water. Vent the room until the odour has gone. For environment protection, do not pour away paint residues into the sewage system.
The paint coating obtains its full strength properties (washability and resistance to scrubbing) after 28 days once the painting job is finished.
Storage: Store in the original, tight container within a temperature range of 5°C to 30°C. Keep out of the reach of children.
