Wood Oil

This water-based Wood Oil effectively protects surfaces from moisture, dirt and UV radiation. It provides long-lasting protection and nourishes the wood from within. Its mild odour makes it suitable for enclosed spaces. Easy to use, it forms a matt coating after drying that enhances the wood structure. It helps prevent cracking and protects wooden surfaces from ageing. Solvent-free. Suitable for all types of softwood and hardwood, including exotic species. Ideal for furniture, panelling, floors and wooden decorations.

How to use

Surface preparation: The surface should be clean and dry, free from dust, grease and other soiling. Sand old surfaces with fine-grit sandpaper, then remove dust. Before oiling, it is recommended to protect the surface against fungi and mould with a colourless biocidal product.
Directions: Ambient temperature should be +10°C to +25°C. Apply oil only to wood with moisture content not exceeding 20%. Ready to use – do not thin. Stir thoroughly before use and repeat during application. Do not shake.
With a brush, apply a thin, even coat of oil along the grain. Avoid runs. Apply so that all oil is absorbed. Wipe off residue with a sponge or cloth. Depending on the desired effect, apply 1 or more coats. Apply the next coat after the previous one has dried (24 h). After each coat, protect the surface from water, dust and dirt. Remove excess oil.
Areas exposed to continuous weather should be protected annually.
Note! Before oiling the main surface, test in an inconspicuous area to familiarise yourself with the product.
